MSt in Greek and/or Latin Languages and Literature
Prior to coming to Oxford, I studied classics at Harvard College, graduating in 2012. The Ertegun Scholarship not only generously allowed me the opportunity to pursue the M.St. in Greek and Latin Languages and Literature at Oxford, but also provided an invaluable scholarly community and a space that fostered inquiry and collaboration across disciplinary boundaries. I remain profoundly grateful to the Ertegun Programme.
Life After Ertegun House
Since leaving Ertegun House, I have been pursuing a PhD in Classics at Princeton University. I have published several articles, including a version of my M.St. dissertation. Currently, I am writing my doctoral dissertation, entitled "The Environmental Poetry of Augustan Rome." The dissertation grows out of a wider interest in literature and the environment, an area of research I first got to explore in depth during my time in Oxford. I feel fortunate to have been part of the Ertegun community, and would be happy to hear from past, present, and prospective Ertegun scholars.
